What
is a limousine?
Limousine is a french word meaning "fancy car." It
does not describe or denote the make, model, size, age seating capacity,
length or set of features or accoutrements.
Looking
for the "Best Price"?
You may be disappointed. The biggest
error you could make when shopping for a limousine is searching
based on PRICE. In the limousine industry, there are many variances
of quality
and price. All too often, a cheaper price translates into a greater
risk for you. Most consumers would not choose a quality restaurant
or hotel
based on price, yet people shop for a limo service this way and
expect 5-star quality. If you shop for a limousine service based on
price alone,
you may be frustrated and disappointed with your limousine experience.
Do
we pay for the limo while we are not using it? Not
if you selected a split rental. A split rental provides transportation
to and from desinations,
with no charge for in-between time.
Can
I rent a limo for 1 hour?
Yes, but most rentals do not last one hour and once you go over 60 minutes, it
would have been less expensive to go with a one way split rental.
What
if the rental is out of town?
Ask the company what the additional charge would be. Most companies figure rates
based on rentals inside of Loop 1604. Most companies will charge a nominal fee
to travel outside of the San Antonio area.
